Tinkering with Cubetto

IMG_9604This time I had the chance to test Cubetto, a coding robot for kids aged 3+. It is ideal as it doesn’t need any screen at all.

A feature that stands out from other robots is that the kids can “write” and visualise their algorithm on the interface board. There is also a function line at the bottom where you can define its body. That function can be called with the blue square coding block.

It is also quite precise, even of the mat is a bit wrinkled.

You can easily trace your code as there is a blue led below each coding block that blinks when it is running that command.

In case you run out of ideas, there are more than 50 lessons ready to use in your classroom.
